SERVICES · RESPONSIBILITIES · OUTPUTS
Shipping services with the working detail included.
Dry bulk is primary. Approved general dry cargo is secondary and confirmed case by case. Container, tanker, oil, LPG, LNG and gas shipping are not presented as ShipPrompt services. Vessel ownership, service capacity and insurance availability require written confirmation.
Required information is stated before work starts.
Client, coordinator, contracting party and provider duties remain separate.
Every workstream ends in a document, decision or verified handover.
Chartering
Dry bulk & approved general dry cargo
Chartering from cargo order to fixture follow-through.
Voyage charter, time charter, contract-of-affreightment and project requirements are assessed against the actual cargo and trade. Typical requirements may start at approximately 1,000 MT and extend through Ultramax. Larger cargo programmes up to 300,000 MT are considered only case by case, subject to cargo, vessel, port, commercial and provider confirmation.

Controls for the licensed provider
Material terms must be explicit before reliance.
Scroll horizontally to view every column.
| Control | What must be confirmed in the quotation and final wording |
|---|---|
| Assured party and insurable interest | The quotation and final wording must identify each assured or beneficiary and the interest being protected |
| Voyage, cargo and insured value | Origin, destination, inland legs, transshipment, storage, cargo description, valuation basis, currency and any uplift must match the actual movement |
| Inception and expiry | Attachment, termination, policy period, cancellation rights and any storage duration must be stated explicitly |
| Exclusions | Delay, inherent vice, packing, ordinary leakage or loss, unseaworthiness knowledge, temperature and other limitations depend on the selected wording |
| Deductible or excess | Amount, currency and application by event, item or claim must come from the quotation and final wording |
| Warranties and conditions | Survey, packing, routing, vessel, security, notification and other conditions must be identified and complied with as the provider requires |
| Sanctions and territorial limits | Counterparties, vessel, ownership, flag, route, ports, cargo and geography remain subject to the licensed provider’s compliance review and territorial terms |
| Claims notification | The final documents control notice timing, survey instructions, loss mitigation, supporting evidence and preservation of recovery rights |
Availability, suitability, limits, deductibles, sanctions, warranties, exclusions, territorial scope and claims treatment are determined by the licensed provider’s confirmation and the final issued wording. If any summary conflicts with that wording, the issued wording controls.
